Default 4l60 with converter

I have acdelco trans with aprox. 10k. i would like to get $550 but make an offer.

700r didn't come with electric lock-up and 4l60 did from what I remember.

That's a 700r4. The 4l60's didn't come with a kick down cable.

The papers i got with trans states that it's a 4l60 witch is the same as 700r4. That why there is no "E" at the end.

take a picture of the plug on the passage side of the trans, if its round it a 60, if its a square plug its a 700

700R4 / 4L60

The Hydramatic 700R4 was introduced in 1982 for use in Chevrolet/GMC vehicles. In 1990, the 700R4 was renamed the 4L60. Under the new designation, the "4" stands for the number of forward gears, the "L" for longitudinal applications (rear-wheel-drive), and the "60" relates to the weight rating "60" standing for 6000 lbs, although the 4L60E is used in trucks weighing as much as 8600 lbs. 1992 was the last year of widespread usage of the 700R4 (4L60).
