No one has ever compared them.

I think it would be VERY worthwhile your time to try it out, especially since you seem so eager to spend $1100 on a ported fast. I bet your could get a takeout truck intake DIRT CHEAP. The 90mm cable TB will be expensive though...about $300 I think. At most I'd say you'd be in $500. That's about $1000 cheaper than the fast setup

i beg to differ!!

since my fast 90 was installed before the home ported heads i had alot more traction problems than with the LS6 i had. now with the heads on, well lets just say "is something on fire"

i went from a stock 4.8 to a cammed LS1 with ls1 intake, to the ls6 intake(gained .2), to the fast 90(90 with heads gained .6), so i cant compare the truck one.

Didn't the OP swap to the LS6 intake and gain nothing? I'd stick with the stock intake, maybe spend the $$$ on a 4 link.

I might have a 6.0 intake that I'll be selling soon...I bought one a while back to cut open and measure the cross -section, runners, etc, and plug the numbers into some cam software that my father has, then never got around to it. Trying to find things to sell to fund my FLT/CircleD extraviganza...need some u joints, a slip yoke, detroit tru trac, rear brake pads and backing plates and a few other items to boot...
