Default Yank Converter or Cam...???

So i have the money to buy some parts for my truck.
I just ordered my nitrous kit to shoot the 125 shot.

Now should i buy a Yank 3000 Converter or go with a cam/roller rockers and springs????

They should costs about the same, what do you think will make the bigger difference??

I am going to buy the HP tuners program as well, if that helps in the descission.

Hell with it do both there both good mods some cams require a stall so you might want start with the stall.

Do the stall first,a Yank 3000 will help you a lot without a cam and really enhance the cam's performance later when you do it.

Did I hear soembody say both?

cough cough I uhm haven't sold my TT3000 yet (5000 miles on it) or my cam...comp cam 218/224 .562/.567 115...also 5000 miles on it. My Yank verter was rebuilt by dave at Yank. It hasn't been ran yet. So consider it new as per Dave. I don't have springs to sell ya...I do have an extra set of 7.4 pushrods I'd sell as well.

To your question slammed...lol you have an eaton posi....nitrous....and now you are deciding between cam and converter....can we say bye bye 4l60e with the juice. I agree with 03silverado, if you had to only get one...get the verter and pick a cam towards it later. HOWEVER I can sell ya both! AND, in about a week or two my built 4l60e will be back from repair(the pump went out and he covered it under warranty, I'll have a built 4l60e to get rid of....I am sures your will go as well. That 60e doesn't like weight, really good converter, a cam, and then nitrous.
Cam-$240 shipped
Converter-$450 shipped
Built 60E-$950 pick up tab on shipping as well.

Check with someone that my cam spec's would work well with nitrous...I got as radix/blower and converter cam.

I didn't mean as well....I meant the buyer would have to pick up the tab on this one.

Did that came work well for you? What kind of gains did you feel?
Anyone else had that came before??
The pushrods are hardened right? Are there any certain springs i should go with?

Cam worked great as I can tell ....meaning I did all my mods at once. Even the blower. SO I was loving life until I blew my driveshaft. But the responsiveness of the throttle and rpms seemed great and you definitely felt it in the seat of your pants. I would put that cause and effect with the combo of cam and converter...okay maybe the free flowing heads and exhaust as well. See what I mean....I did everything at once.

Yes, the pushrods are hardened.

I sent you a PM telling you that the converter is sold to you, send payment via paypal and the cam is on hold for you...just until tomorrow morning, then I'll post in the classifieds. I forgot to tell you that you can have the pushrods for an extra 35 bucks if ya like. Again, they are hardened...I'll get you the part number tomorrow if your interested.

15.3 after yank

not a hard decision
