Default X-pipe reducing interior noise ??

I've heard and read that an x-pipe reduces interior resonance / noise a good amount. Is this correct ?? I was considering putting an x-pipe with 2 dynomax bullets on my truck. I had one dynomax bullet for 2 years but took it off because I got tired of the interior resonance at 1900-2500 rpm and put a flowmaster 60 series on. Just wondering how much noise level would be reduced by the x-pipe if this were true, even with 2 dynomax bullets on there ???

ya it does quiet it down a lot. a buddy of mine did an x-pipe no cats and two single chamber flows on his 06 and the interior noise is really low now
