Exposed wires in the gas tank?? the coating seemed to melt right off the colored wires IN the gas tank and they were touching each other :S... anyone know if i can claim this to gm??.. my fuel pump crapped out after 7 years cuz of this and those replacements are pretty expensive..any way to resolve this or am i screwed...warranty is long gone

Yeah When Those Units Go They Go.... You Probably Wont Get Anything From Gm Unfortunately..... But Yes Those Do Go Out.... And Theyre Not Exactly Cheap.... Anywhere Between $350- $1000

A fuel pump costs 350 to a grand?

I have one from my 2004 build that I couldn't use to having a different tank. How can I best get my value out of the one I couldn't use?

I am guessing that I will not get the value on Ebay.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
