i currently have a ls6 cam and this guy is trying to sell me a 237/242, .603"/.609" 112 cam and i was wondering if it would fit on my 4.8

That cam is way to big for a 4.8. That thing would be a bitch to tune

I really hope you have a manual tranny!! And an LS1/6 intake. And better heads. And slicks. And alot of tuning time. And have a hatred for low-end power.

That cam would be better suited for a 408 or larger. Thats allllllllot of cam for a 4.8 If I am not mistaken that cam sounds real close to what 01slowz71 had in his 418ci

yea that is waaaaayyyyyy big for a 4.8 that is better suited for a 408 or maybe a WILD ls1

you'll need atleast 10.1 cr minumal and minumal of 5.7 litres

i dont really understand the lobe seperation like the 114,113,112 and so on.. on texas speed it says to choose the lobe seperation im about to get their cam pakage and i need to know what kind of lobe seperation to get.. can any one help me out

what cam are you getting

the LSA(lobe separation angle ) affects many things, one is lope the lower the number the more lope it has

its the The Texas Speed Torquer 2 232/234 .595/.598.. and with my choice of lobe seperation.. 112,113,114.. and the kit has the 918 springs and the pushrods.. and im going to get a tune from them and im going to run the ls1 heads too..
