that cam is too big, i have a 224 in my 4.8, with a 3k verter and its about as big as you want to go....

That's just to much cam for a 4.8 IMO, unless you have the valvetrain and the kahones to wrap it up to about 7.5-8k. You would also have to have a set of some BAD *** heads to let that thing breath that high.

I had a 224/224 112lsa in my 4.8 and it worked great. I still think I have the cam somewhere if you are looking.
Hell I have a whole 4.8 rotating assembly for sale. Balanced crank, Mahly rods, JE pistions. and p&p's ls1 heads. CR is about 8.6:1 with it. makes for a very nice setup with a blower or turbo.
