Default Wiring schematic??

can anyone help me figure out the five wires going into the fog light/cargo lamp switch. I have the switch for the fog lights but no fog lights and I want to wire the switch as a momentary.

The five wires going into the switch are Gray, ornge, black, blue, and purple. I want to push the button for fog lights and have something turn on for only the time I have the button pushed in.

However I still want my cargo lamp to work.

As far as I know the fog light switches or on/off only and won't do momentary.

If this is 99-02, the foglight switch is momentary between orange wire in terminal "G" and Ground.

Thats what I thought, the foglight button is momentary and just sends a signal to the BCM, normaly. but, if I re-wire the ornge wire to my own relay then it will be momentary. The black is ground I assume.

Yes, black is ground. You're right about the foglight button being momentary and sending a signal to the BCM. That's why trucks without foglights need the BCM reprogrammed when factory fogs are added.
