all depends on whether you wanna drop a grand on a plastic intake or pay half that for an aluminum one. either intake will do the job well. the fast intake should have better low speed torque cause of the runners but the edelbrock has shown to have no upper limit. have seen guys pullin another 500-1000 rpms over stock truck intakes with similar hp numbers as the fast. my choice for my next intake is the edelbrock cause i just think it looks a lot better than anything else.

I would pay more and go faster, than pay $500+ and go slower. The Edelbrock is just the wrong intake for big heavy trucks.....Read below.
