Default Will 5.3 Headers work on the LQ9 6.0?

I want to swap a 5.3 to a 6.0 LQ9 and run either a 408 stroker or a 6.0 and eventually port the heads. I currently have dynatech supermaxx LT's on my stock 5.3 aluminum head. Will there be any problem in using the same LT's with either the 6.0 or 408, ported or not ported? If there is a problem with fit or port alignment, maybe a possible fabrication? Those LT's were kinda pricey to just dump with a swap. I contacted dynatech and they said the headers should bolt on to the heads but the ports are different. Has anyone tried a swap and used the same LT's? Any help would be great. Thanks.

I had wondered the same. I found out that everything from a 5.3 will bolt back up to a 6.0.

I heard that too. I think their headers are the same but from the Headers back they may be different, since they list their headers for the 4.8, 5.3, and 6.0 under the same product number but have different whole system product numbers. Anyways, I love the way they sounded when I installed them, especially past like 3500 RPM's. I did break off a head bolt when I removed the stock manifold but hopefully I can get that taken out somehow and get the last bolt in. No noticeable exhaust leak though.

Still wandering if I am going to have any problems with the swap, especially if I port the heads with the 408 stroker. Anyways, here is their webpage:

yup, my 4.8 and LQ9 manifolds have the same casting number IIRC. I'm running 4.8 manifolds
