wideband sensor type question

Default wideband sensor type question

i know it's basically just an o2 sensor or a WRAF sensor

bosh makes them along with ngk that i know of

what types and part numbers are everyone using???

i'm going to try and atleast get the sensor from my work and jsut buy/make the cable.

any help?

I have a innovate motor sport xd-16 WB which uses a
VW O2. part # 021-906-262-B

The actual sensor is not that expensive. You can get one from some online VW dealers for about $40-45, but you can't just wire it up like a NB sensor. It needs a fairly complex controller box to operate/understand it. Its not as easy as it sounds. Innovative has the best deal for a stand alone cable/controller box, but they have a so-so reputation for lasting. I have one and has been back once for repair.

i work at napa i was pondering getting the sensor there also and jsut buying the cable
