The problem with more boost in my case when I first install the kit, like TG02Z71 has, is anything over 5psi and your most likely maxing the stock injectors and going lean.
I think its almost a must to get larger injectors, and a shift kit. And an intercooler if you demand max performance.
Also IAT's at just 5 psi are already over 160 degrees.
Side note, I gained 4mph in just the 1/8 mile by installing the small IC under the truck.
Went to the track one sunday, ran 78mph at 7 psi, IAt's over 150. After the IC install, under even slightly hotter conditions, I ran 82mph at 7psi IAT's around 100.

i do not know to much about the turbo set up, don't you have a control valve for the amount of boost pressure you want to make, is this set right or could it be bad from the factory?

Could it be a faulty wastegate?

just out of curiosity, have you checked it with a manual gauge? I have seen slightly higher psi out of the .4 bar spring at times, but never 10psi. Is the spring large or small? The smaller one fits on the center part or raised area of the inside of the wastegate and a larger one would go in the bigger area around the outside. I wouldnt think there is a chance of this, but hell, its worth a shot.

No leakage, ZERO, but my level checks high now when its cold. Its checking above the warm crosshatche marks even though its cold. It was fine before all this slippage or possible slippage started. The only thing I changed was the night before the slipping started. The return line coming from the turbo into the STS return pump was changed. Because of the way the fittings tightened up I could not get the line to point toward the pump which left the line slightly bent, not kinked but not the way I would like it to be for flow reasons. I changed the hose and messed with the fittings to get the new hose into a better flow position. Now the hose goes up over the filter and back down to the return pump. Could making the oil flow up hill for a foot cause all these problems??? I don't think so but I am going to put some hard piping in and keep it low or at the same level as the return pump. We will see what happens I guess. Its snowing like freaking crazy here now so its going to be hard to tell if its slipping or not.

I have no way to check the spring, I am going to remove the wastegate cover carefully and see if there is anything that is noticeibly binding or just not right. I'll take some spring measurements with a caliper and post them soon. Time to go lay on the cold concrete floor again, it 30 degrees out here today. At least I have a garage I guess.
