Why does AC cycle ON/OFF and break belts after efan swap?

Yes, 48 oz of R134a is correct. Make sure you have the correct amount of oil in the compressor as well. It should be 11 oz of PAG46

After I did the AC, I took it to a local shop for the charge. Paid 90 bucks for the labor and R134a

I got the system running. Everything is good, and the compressor doesn't cycle on and off anymore. I let it idle for about 1 hour, AC is very cold, much colder than before.

When I took out the old compressor, it had ZERO oil inside.

I'll start a new thread soon about the system rebuild.
