[QUOTE=Slowverado]for most people in this truck section that much power would not only be sufficient, it would be WAY to much....QUOTE]

I have a vehicle with over 500rwhp and I assure that Slow is right. The self control and discipline it takes to NOT abuse it is very difficult to maintain. Controling the power is not the hard part; the hard part is, youll start to get used to it, even think its slow, then next thing you know you will try to show up a ricer or other hot-rod and hurt your self, others, or your vehicle. The hard part is controling yourself.

I got two words for that guy "BRING IT" no no no just kidding, just kidding In all honesty I saw on Hemmings that chevy had experamented with a "small block 427" in a camero and they acted like it was the greatest thing sence the one night stand or sliced bread, whatever. But to get back to the point I think i remember him saying it had like 500 HP stock. My only question: Why didn't they manufature it ?

i totaly agree with flyer that is why i originaly posted that.

SLOW: i am not trying to hate on you but you know you are skateing on ______ ice around here for some of your comments. and like i said not hating but you worded that wrong BROE.

also i have and still drive a camaro that is in that power range and above some times and can handle it fine. so i dont see a prob with my truck being fast and towing something faster.

Like i said i am not trying to get in a talking contest again but i am trying to help you and watch the way you word things.

That's a whole lot of cash.

I'm quite sure I'd still be wanting more power. I'm quite sure I could handle it. I've got a 130hp, 420lb bike. Nothing major. They're a dime a dozen. With me on it, it's a 1:4.7 power to weight ratio.

My truck with 525 to the wheels would only yield a 1:9.9.

My _dirtbike_ scares the crap out of me easier than the streetbike.

"Too much power, is just about right."

I would have to agree with sleeper and Flyer. How can you judge for the vast majority of this forum when you don't know the majority of it?
