I run it in my duramax and turbo truck. I dont hammer on either of them till the engine is up to operating temp. 15w40 btw.

Well I picked up some of the 10-30w regular rotella, gonna give it a whirl, only 14 bucks a gallon.

I use mobile1 whichever is on sale at Costco. Usually 10w30 and add stp oil treatment. It adds in a good bit of the zinc and other good stuff for $3 it's worth it.

The Rotella will work fine. We along with many of our customers have used it in builds with no negative results.

I think I'm going to run VR1 10-30. I'm in Missouri, and the truck sits outside, so it will be exposed to some negative degree temperatures.

yes the 15w-40 smells no clue why thats what I've been running in my truck for years
