Default Whipple and TEC

Has anyone run Top Engine Cleaner through their Whipple? I'm not exactly sure if the compression of a liquid with the clearances of those screws would be a good idea.

i dont know anything about TEC but was always under the impresion that you dumped it into the spark plug holes.

if there are deposits insede the whipple i would just leave them there, there not hurting anything.

Sorry Parish, let me clarify. I meant, run the TEC through the TB and Compressor on its way to the manifold and valvetrain. Is this a bad idea? Someone on the Pacific Audio forum wouldn't do it last year b/c they were worried about the compressor grenading.

what is the normal way to use TEC? if you normaly run it thru the TB and into the motor then i wouldn't be afraid to run it thru the blower too.

You are supposed to spray or pour it into the TB.

Parish, after LMAO watching you kill those punks w/your 6.0, I see you are a wizard with forced induction . But wasn't that also you who had the fireball shoot out the front of your new rig

I still don't know what to do.

I uses TEC on my whipple'd truck last year. I sprayed into the whipples aux injector rail (but I had the injecctors and computer removed).

Others have sprayed it into other holes in the intake (like the PCV inlet on top). I'd prefer to spray it closer to the filter so it has time to mix and give it equal distribution.

I think you could spray though the compressor. Couldn't be any worse than guys spraying nitrous through it.

should be fine man. on twin screw sc the rotors do not touch and there is no teflon to seal air between the rotors. i.e. nothing the tec would chemically breakdown in the sc.
