Default Thorley is coming out with some new headers!

I emailed them yesterday, and here is there response:
quote:
OK at this time we offer a header for the 1999 through 2000, with the 4.8L and the 5.3L part number is 310Y and 310Y-DA if you have a smog pump, smog is 2 fittings on the pass side and 1 fitting on the drivers side. We use 1 5/8 into 2 inch and then exit at 2 1/2 the headers fit into the catalytic converter, we cut 1/2 inch in front of them so the header is a medium length, Summit has the best prices at 800-230-3030. THE TECH GUY

I did a part number search on Summit, and it said they are not availble until 02/21/03 and the price is $413.69. Doesn't sound like a bad deal to me.

Did you install the 310Y headers? If so, what is your impression? I'm going to install the 312Y headers on my Vortec 6000 K2500 once they come out.
