That UPD is nice but at $270 is a bit expensive. I have seen an air raid pipe with k&N for $150, thats alot less than the UPD and I couldnt imagine the power difference being more than 1 hp or so. Not to mention the UPD doesnt even come with a drop in filter so the price moves up to $310+!

I'm very pleased with the UPD. I have the clear versoin fyi...
The only complaint i have is alot of people tend to come up and touch etc b/c they have never seen such a good looking intake i guess. I have sratchs now... <img border="0" alt="[whiner]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cry.gif" />
Does UPD not have any GPs any more? I picked mine up on a GP and had it shipped with taxes with filter for 225.

I have the upd as well. I called them and got a hell off a deal. It was only $179. Well $189 because i got the clear cover for the filter. I already had the drop in k&n so i didnt order one. But even then They were only going to charge me $20 for the drop in k&n.

We can also get you parts for your truck. I'm running the side-exit Corsa on my '01 GMC, and it's GREAT! If you have a particular system in mind, just e-mail or call me to let me know, and I'll check pricing on it for ya.

Re: Where do I get good deals on Air Filter & Exhuast?
Well as they say on here, Here's my two cents worth. I have a Granatelli cold air intake which is just like the K&N and their maf sensor and it works great. The only complaint I have is when I go to the high pressure car wash the filter gets wet. But since it is oil soaked it repels water anyway so no big deal I guess. I Bought a Dynomax super turbo muffler model 17674 from jegs and had the local shop put it on with dual tail pipes. My only complaint with it is moderate resonance at 70mph so I just drive 75, no big deal. I think the biggest gain I could feel though was the hypertech programmed for 93 octain. It gives the 5.3 the bottom end grunt that it was lacking, no complaints there what so ever. I haven't had it on a dyno but I can say that I can pull a full truck length on a stock truck before I even get to third gear and also get a few more miles per gallon to boot.
