Where Do I Find A Drag Radial?
#1
Was wondering where I could get a drag radial that is equal to the highdth of my 275/55/20 tires that came factory on my truck?
I know I will need to go to a smaller rim, but I havn't found a drag radial or equivalent that will match or be very close to my factory tire size.
Reason being, I would need to recalibrate my shift points, to get optimal performance. It may shift too soon and cause me to get a worse 1/4 mi time.
Help me out here someone.

I had the same problem, most of the vho trucks that I know of are running 26s and this weekend I ran a 29.5. I was thinking the 26/10.50/16 ET streets are what I am gonna go with. I dont have a tune so even the 29.5 screwed me all up.

i would say go with the 26" dr but you will need tuning for it to shift right. now if you wanted a taller dr i know you can get a 28 inch but anything larger than that may be a full race slick. not sure, but trust me, 26" will be nice....

I guess you all don't understand. If you reduce the tire size, it will mess up my shift points. I don't know by how much ,but it will effect it.
Wish I had a labtop and hp tunners software so I could do the tire size change myself. Though that's not cheap.
Is there an easier way to recalibrate the speedo for the tire change?
