Ok i ordered my pistons for the 6.0 2day now i need to order the rods...i cant decide between manley and eagle..i know the eagles are around $600..i need to find a place to order the manleys so i can check the price on them!...thanks!

 

Manley rods are at around 600
I ended up going with the eagle there a decent rod and Can handle some power
just Get the eagles most sponsers will have them on the shelf for 550-99
I got mine from futural he's running them in his nitrous motor with good results

 

Don't forget about the Crower LS1 sportsman rods.

THE only reason im lookin at manley rods is b/c the 03 cobra motors come with manley rods..i know alot about the 03 cobras, and i know they are one of the strongest motors ever built...so thats the only thing keepin me from ordering the eagles...does any1 have experience with or even use manleys on ls1's and types of newer chevy motors?

 

i was going to use manleys on my motor but hvae since decided to go with crowers after some heavy discussions with some guys at local shops. there's a shop car down here with crower rods running some INSANE times, and putting down mad power.

 

i am running manleys in my truck no complaints. They are a good rod. believe they were about 800$ though dont remember for sure though. Know people with f-bods making lot of power and had not probs. I even had a set of 6.125 rods that were like a 1200$ set but they were the wrong size. good thing though came out cheeper.

 

hEY MAN where did u buy the crowers at? and do u think they can support a 200 shot? i found some crowers on texas speed for $500...also sleeping silverado what kinda setup do u have and where did u purchase your rods? thanks!

 

speedtek in hurst would be a good place, i think there is a speedtek in oklahoma city also, if you'd like i could pm you the number to the one here, i know one of the guys there, and most of them are pretty cool. they can definatly handle a 200 shot.
