TTT...I want to know this too. My tranny took a $#!+ on me yesterday. I was looking into either FLP, TCI, or Transmission Center. I know im not the only poor bastard who has grenaded a 4l60e, lets hear from the peeps who have had tranny problems. I dont want to make the wrong choice and buy a $2k paperweight. I wanna hear both sides Pros/Cons about any trans company.

I found out today that as far as getting installs done there do not use transmissoncenter.net. They have a big file at the better buisness bureau but Im only one person! I was going to use them untill today!

I would think if your not near someone that you KNOW is a good transmission center,
like here in Houston you could take it to Century Automotive and Transmissions, then you could go with the FLP 4L65E. there where quite a few that where buying there transmissions here a while back, and yes there where a few breakage issues, but you take your chances with any trans breaking.
I would recommend FLP, even tho I have never had one, if you cant find a GOOD transmission shop

i'd recomend rossler, flp, level 10, or that place selling the raptor (performance transmission or something like that). i certainly wouldn't go with a tci.

I had good luck with my FLP tranny in my T/A....

But in a truck I wouldn't screw around with another 40l60E. I'd just go straight to an 80E and call it good.

I've been through 5 trannies in my T/A and that was BEFORE nitrous. I don't trust ANY tranny company when they tell you that you can run XXX HP/TQ and not have any problems. BS
