Default Whatzis?

This was restricting the flow of oil out of my drain plug during my first oil change. It was loose in the bottom of the pan, apparently stuck to the magnet. Should I shove it up my engine builder's nose, or not worry about it? Click on pic.

wow, I'd be knocking on his door by now. I have no idea what it is but I doubt it belongs where it was found.

I should have read Torkman15's post, 6.0L dipstick tube removal????, first. It has to be the end of the dipstick tube, broke off at the O-ring.

Yeah, I posted, then I was going to do a search (where have you heard that before), and there was Torkman 15's post right under my nose.
Probably terrorists sprayed some kind of dipstick tube-eating virus into the air.

I think you found part of your dip stick tube. Now just hope it droped into the bottom of the pan right away and put a new one on. I would also speak to the builder about it....

Well...unfortunately, the builder didn't touch any of the accessories, like the dipstick tube for example...
