im debating wether to get a stall converter or a cam. if i get the stall ill probably get the yank3000 and if i get a cam it will be the comp 212/218. which one would u do first?
What other mods do you have on your truck? Best bang for racing/drag IMHO would be the Yank TT3000. Should give you around .2 to .3 in the 1/4 mile (if that's you thing) but no horsepower or torque gains, it just takes better advantage off the line of what you already have. If you want more HP and TQ, get the cam.

With that cam you are going to need a stall to get you going so I would do the converter first then do the cam. That is my plan anyway. Yank 3000 is in route and will go in the 14th and a cam will be a month or two after that.

coming from someone who has done a cam already with no stall, I would do the stall first. You will gain from a cam but you will also loose bottum end power. If you go and throw the stall in there first you shouldn't ever loose anything. Just my $.02

Good choice on the stall first, let me know how much it cost where you get it and where you get it done at.

I can't belive so many of you guys do RR stall converters, I put my truck on the lift for the first time looked at that goglundala 4L80E and thought not until theirs a green day in hell. When I lowered the truck it was like the lift had just maxed on the bench press, it wasn't used to anything bigger then a carolla The 2500 rides so smooth though.
