What's it going to take to get traction ???

I wouldnt do anything thats going to slow you down just to get traction. I'd look into getting a set of caltracs traction bars, then you might want to pull the sway bar to help with lift.If you leave the sway bar, check into some different shocks. You need the front to lift for weight transfer.
I'm fighting the same problem and think slicks will do the trick for the track, but for the street I will have to start messing with the suspension also.

Seriously, 4wd is a HUGE disadvantage on the street if you don't use it. All that extra weight, and the extra drivetrain loss from the transfer case.
Just get a nice stall, push the 4wd button before a race, and RIP people out of the hole.
Take advantage of what you got.

True....I have been using the 4x4 more and more lately due to the traction issues.....it's fun to wax 'Vetts 0-30 mph (after that I get my *** handed to me but hey...the first 100' is fun )....thes stall is in the works and the suspension work is in progress........
