If you want to drop you 0-60 time the biggest thing you need is a good stall. The more you drop your 60' time the more you drop your 0-60. A 3000-3500 stall will drop your 0-60 about half a second over a stock stall.

True. I was averaging 5.3 the last time I did 3 runs on the G-Tech. With the new trans/stall I went out and did two more runs. Both runs were 4.4 seconds. I'll try more once the trans has a few more miles on it and I'll brake-stall it until I'm at max bbost and rpm. I'll be looking for some 4.2's....

That is awesome. You will give the cobras a good run for me. I will start looking for a converter. My problem is that I should have done the converter with the engine swap. Now I have to do this separately and I dont know if the 4l60 is worth upgrading with a 3000 stall

Ha ha! Yeah, and good luck to them trying to launch a stick on the streets that is going to yeild them a low 4 second 0-60! Maybe in the magazines...

I'd say no to the 4L60 holding. I wouldn't bother wasting money on the stall. Might as well get the trans and stall at the same time and be done with it. Then (cross your fingers) you won't have to worry about the trans!
