nice small cam, the reverse split duration is usually used in turbo aps. Mild lift and small LSA should give it a narrow but higher peak torque in the lower area of the power band.

Could work well for what you need but there are a few variables.

1. For a n/a application it would definately require a free flowing exhaust. If you aren't planning on long tubes it probably isn't a good choice.
2. Will need to be installed with a few degrees of advance (unless it has advance ground in) to maintain the low end.
3. Getting an good tune could be an issue. Not sure how many folks will have experince tuning a similar combo which could make a mail order tune difficult.
4. Not the best choice if you have or are considering adding nitrous.

I believe that the F-body guys over on LS1tech say that the reverse split cams provide a healthy midrange at the expense of a few ponies on the top end (compared to a single pattern or standard split). Go over there and do some research on reverse splits. I would think that stall would be in the ballpark as well.

no telling how it would act. It seems that the duration would cause it to act like a bigger cam than the way it would act in a 6.0. I emailed you back, but I figured this info is good for the board as well...

This reverse split cam IS a torque monster. My truck, check the sig, responded very well to this cam. We all know that its not easy getting 5200lbs up and moving very quickly, but this cam will do it for you (provided you put a larger than stock stall in there). With mine, the duration is dropped 4* so I could retain the stock converter, and it just gets up and goes. No brake stalling, just mash the gas and go.

With that said, it does seems like it is a bit difficult to tune. I had a live tune done by Justin (Blackbear). Really it was just an adjustment to his mail order and the thing runs great. I am sure there is more to be had, but I don't currently have the several hundreds that it would cost, compounded by the fact that its difficult to find an AWD dyno around me. Is there more to be had, I am sure there is, but I am extremely pleased with the way this thing runs now. It pulls hard all the way through 6K, with a little flat spot between 2500 and 3000, but then it comes back on hard and doesn't quit until you shift.

Like I said, I know you will be pleased.
