Every part of this ends up taking 3x longer than it should and there is always something that I didnt intend on needing that becomes a necessity. I had to reschedule with the shop to fit the welder's schedule so Im dropping it off next Tues. When I pick it up, it will have the new wheels and tires mounted, new bypass valve, 3.12 pulley and hopefully a base line tune with an 11-1 AFR (want to keep it a little rich since it can get pretty hot and muggy). From here it is just one more stop to have the 6.0 and new tranny dropped in, but I want to see what this 5.3 will do. If Im close I may throw a 50 shot on there to get me moving.
Id love to race you James B. If you win I get to pick your brain for a couple of hours and I'll buy lunch, if I win I get to pick your brain for a couple of hours and buy lunch
