Default Cam question.....dont know much about it

I have a '99 gmc nbs 5.3 4x4. I am lifted and running 37 tires. I tow some times, and occasionally put it into 4x4. I am looking for a cam that will give me good top end and torque as well. I wanna have the low end power to tow, but i also want the speed when i am cruisin. I plan on gettin a nelson tune in the future.....so i need a cam/springs/pushrods that will not not **** anything up until i get a tune. thanks.

Since you have a 99, I would also get a LS6 ported oil pump. In the earlier LS series motors there was some quality control issues concerning the oil pump. I would contact VHP, I have read some thread about their cam and it seems like the people love them. They would recommend what cam would be good for your application.
