Default What should I install next???

I have a 2002 Z71 5.3 RCSB I have already done quite abit to it as far as performance upgrades. I have a powerdyne blower running 9 pounds of boost (thinking of going 13), edelbrock headers, 255 LPH Fuel Pump, 42 lb injectors, Flowmaster Duals, Ram Air Hood, Corvette Servo and Shift Kit, Custom Tune. I want to go a cam, roller rockers, and pushrods maybe not sure on what size cam to go with. I want to keep away from a stall converter but I want to have a good sound too. Also I have thought about maybe a nitrous kit. What size shot should I go with? Wet or Dry Kit? I would love to build a 408 but dont have the time or the money right now. So any suggestions on cam size or nitrous or both or something else would be great.

The GT 2-3 cam from Lingenfelter, the meth kit, change blower pulley for more boost, and give a 2400 stall from PI a try. It's not too much of a stall, but it should net you gains your looking for.
While your swapping out the cam, change the valvle springs, pushrods, new roller rockers, upgrade to a dual roller timing chain, and a larger volume oil pump.
Decisions...decisions...decisions!
Good Luck and happy modding!

I would try a small nitrous system. I put a 40 shot on a mustang running 20psi with a turbo. The cooling effect of the nitrous was amazing. It actually brought the car out of detonation( it was running on the ragged edge trying to get big hp on dyno) and added over a 100ft lbs of torque. I don't know if the results would be as dramatic at 9psi or if you have a meth kit. The nitrous would be the best your best bang for buck.

The bang for the buck theory is correct, but you only get that added thrust of power when you spray, not all the time.
It's a good idea, don't get me wrong, but I'm just not a NO2 fan. I like increased HP & TQ ready at tap of the throttle all of the time, and not having to worry about filling bottles or if there is enough NO2 in the tank(s) to get the job done. IMO.
Still a good idea for little money to be spent.

The benefit of the nitrous is that it isn't there all the time. You don't have to buy a converter to go with you're new cam. You don't have to tune your truck over again, and you're fuel economy won't suffer. I have a 2 stage boost controller, but most of the time I run on the low setting. I use it like nitrous just when I need it. Refilling a nitrous bottle isn't much more hassle than buying methanol once you find out where to get it. Now if I was going to build a new motor I would go the cam-converter route along with forged internals. Chevy6000 makes a good point but you won't run out of nitrous very fast if you run a 40 or 50 shot.
