Default 5.3 question

what is the 5.3 considered? LS?
Does anyone know where i can find the exact specs for the 2001 tahoe, 0 to 60 and such? using my stop watch and driving at the same time, i'm getting just over 7 seconds. does this seem right?

Well, LS is just the trim package! Becuase you can also get and LS package with a 4.8! Theres two engine codes for the 5.3L the LM7 and the L59(Flex Fuel).

I really havent seen any official 0-60 times for the any Tahoes but a little over 7 sec seem about right.
