I had the TR-55 plugs and Taylor Spiro-Pro wires on my former truck. I had no problems at all. Excellent quality and fit with the wires.

I've had Taylor Spiro-Pros for over a year with YOG headers and have had no problems yet. I didn't know they made ThunderVolts for the trucks.

Does the iridium give a hotter spark or just longer life? My truck only has 7k so it's got the original plugs. I have a 93 Civic (no fart cannon or other bs) driver...I just put some Bosch Platinum + 4s in it for the second time...had 60k on 1st set...no gap to set . Whether multiple ground electrode plugs are better for performance,I don't know. It seems to run better with them. I used Champion Copper Plus plugs in for 40k...they were good...seemed the same as the originals which were Nippondenso.
How any of that relates to use in Vortec V-8s or Ls1s,not sure. Modern ignition systems put out good spark and there are a lot of good plugs and wires out there. My first car had points...they sucked compared to newer stuff...it had a dual point distributor (340 Mopar) and Champion N 9Y plugs. Changed them about every month because it'd break-up at about 4,800. Engine had 10.5 cr...my 4.8 is 9.5:1 which is semi-high compression. I think if you are at or near stock,it doesn't matter that much what you use.

The main benefit of iridium is longer life. It's a stronger metal than platinum and has a higher melting point.

I can get you that info tonight...

EDIT: Actually, they were 32829's.

The LS1 car wires would not work on my truck. WAAAAAY too short.
