What plugs/wires?

I wasn't all ham-fisted when removing them either. I was much more abusive with the stock wires that I had to put back on for a while.

I am looking at the NGK TR55GP platinums or the TR55IX iridiums. I have a relatively stock motor. The only mods I have are a Superchips programmer and an UPD. Which would be best for my application?

I've actually heard bad things about the MSDs, which is why I was leaning toward the Taylors. Have you run across anyone else with issues with Taylors (not doubting your experience, but entertaining the idea that perhaps you got a couple of batches of bad luck all at once...).

I honestly haven't heard any other bad reports from either side of the fence...
The Taylor guy I talked to said that my wires sounded like they were improperly crimped. Maybe a machine was out of tune or something.
OH, another thing I noticed with the wires though - the coil-end of the wires... the distace of the metal clip to the end of the boot was different on most of the wires. Some wires didn't get a nice positive "click" when I slid them on, no matter how hard I forced them. It could be related to the above problems of mine.
The MSD's got a nice double-click on every single one of them.

I already bought the Talors and Iridiums and I am just waiting to put them on. I am waiting on one plug to be sent because the tip was cracked. For some reason one box of 4 were gapped all over the place (0.35, 0.25,0.53 and no gap). When I separated the one without any gap I notice the tip was all cracked and called Thunder for a replacement a week and a half ago. Still waiting.
