What is my gear ratio now

I have stock 3.42 in. My stock tire size is 235/70/r16's. I have 296/50/r16's on it. I guess i don't really how to word it but does that equal to like a 3.55 now or what? thanks in advance

You now have an effective gear ratio of 3.57:1 with those shorter tires.
