does it kick in from a dead stop or only when shifting at WOT from 1st-2nd and 2nd-3rd ??, I ask because it seems at WOT it hesitates on upshift and then upshifts really soft into 2nd and 3rd...it also seems like if I hit it hard from a dead stop it doesn't take off as hard as if I roll into the throttle easier....

 

If you kiss the windshield between shifts, that's what it feels like.

 

People say TM is all so that we can't burn through our trans, I don't totally belive that. I've had my TM modified through the predator and feels like somebody just softly kicked me everytime it shifts, as a manufacture you can't have this people would say this truck is a POS feels awfull when it shifts etc. The TM removes torque to create a smoother ride less jerky i'm sure it does have some function for expanding the transmission apply device life.

 

You are feeling TM Yelo on the shifts only. It only comes into play when shifting. My stock program didn't have any TM in the 1-2 shift, but it did a fair bit in the 2-3 shift.

 

Mine has it worst in the 1-2. Flyer do you swap a 5.7 346 LS1 into your truck?
