Default What does a stock 04 Z71 ecsb run in the 1/4?

I picked up an 04 gmc z71 from Roncarter and I want to know what it will do in the 1/4, and what mods can I do that wont void warrety?

well probly a solid 16.5 to 17 in the 1/4 if its the 5.3 in this heat

Its a 5.3 with 3.73 gear.

MUDZ5.3 ran a 15.6x in his ECSB 4x4 with only a couple bolt ons. I think he only had intake and exhaust at the time. Also, the '04 is supposed to be like 10 more HP than his 2000, so I'd quess somewhere in the high 15's.

on my 02 short cab my best was a 15.7 5.3 engine with 3.73 bone stock.

I was going to guess higher 15's, seeing as the SS's are lower 15's.

with this heat maybe low 16. In winter, i'd say mid to high 15's.
