well I'm almost done with the mods on the truck 2002 GMC Sierra stepside std cab
I have put in so far:
Procharger supercharger intercooled 8psi or so before headers
Magnaflow 2.5" true dual with maganflow X-pipe
ASM long tube headers
Flexalite 282 electric fans
new 34" core radiator
Custom intake setup before and afterintercooler and supercharger
bbk 80mm throttle body
msd 8.5mm wires NGK tr6 plugs gapped at .40
2" rear drop
3:42 gears with locking stock diff
yank 3000 torque converter
no spare .no hitch
A.R.E. hard toneau cover at 70lbs or so
dynoed just after installed of charger only other mod was bbk tb
366RWP and 363rwtq
I haven't put in on the scale yet
to see how fat she is ..
Any opinions on what I'll run in the quater
and maybe what i will dyno next week ?
with all the new mods

Are you planning a sticky tire?
No traction (2.2-2.5 60')= 13.3-13.5
Good traction (1.8-2.0)= 12.9-13.1
MPH should be around 103-105

now what makes for a good 1/4 mile time Horsepower or torque ?
plannin on runnin some sort of slicks not sure which ones to run hoosiers of ET's?
oxidizer am i missing anything on my mods list that you can think of ?
My trannies not enjoying the amounts of power it's seeing latley ..I smell i rebuild that might help my time some with some LS1 edit tuning to get rid of some TQM

Very nice truck Oxidizer. I looked at your web page. GMC SKI you have a hell of a setup if you can put it on the ground. HP + TQ = I need TRACTION.. You should be Mid 12's to low 13's if you get it to the ground, and your weight is under control...GOOD LUCK.

Torque converter selection is important to making this combo work.

Deep trans pan, tranny cooler, 4:10's if you plan on running 28" or 30" tires.

Sounds like you got a mean combo ... keep us posted on the results.

I really don't know where to start with choosing a good slick and rim combo.
as for driveline improvements are have made plans or a serious tranny rebuild. talked to a guy up here that does rebuilds for A.R.E he said he'd fix me up $2500 or so .i was told to blow it up and then go see him. thinking about doing the rear end at the same time. i want something that is still going to be streetable I drive this thing to work still maybe just a set of 3:73? or should i go 4:10's?
