Default What do you guys thing about these cam specs

226/234 @ .050 628/604 113 lsa

With this cam and an LSA supercharger with a 2.55 pulley, it put down 629HP/620TQ with 11 psi. The kicker, at or off idle, before 2000 rpm was 520 lbft of torque!!! Stock ly6 except a cam and spring swap. What do you guys think? Granted it was in a Chevelle, I think?, What do you guys think?

Stock blower? If everything else is stock I'd say those numbers are great. My V bone stock put down 455/450. I would love to get close to those numbers with just a cam swap lol.

Yea, stock blower with pulley swap. 91 octane. The fact that he has that much tq down low is crazy! For a truck that would be insane!

That cam has 4.00 degrees of overlap.

So what that means is,

It chops a little and it keeps cylinder pressures manageable.

If there was less overlap, it would probably make more torque down low but at the risk of higher cylinder pressures.

For a truck, you'll never see that number even if you swapped that drivetrain in.

But it would be close....and fun.

Default Wtf

If thats a true dyno pull, that's totally awesome
for a stock motor with just a cam. is it a 5.3 or a 6.0 ?

ly6 = 6.0

Horsepower: 385 hp @ 5600 rpm
Torque: 400 lb-ft @ 4400 rpm

6.0/lsa cam/2.55 only really good numbers! c7z's are only putting down 550ish to the ground

kinda has me rethinking my 6.2/boost build
