i think greg got like 6 or 7 more HP from the UPD than the K&N on his 4.8L

mine really helped my mileage but i can't tell you how much.

so, what all is included in the upd system? i need something with a shield that deletes the stock box...my stock box has the clip things on the bottom cut off so it kinda just sits there and isn't held down real well

It helped a little with power and mileage but I really don't like the fact that when it rains/carwash etc. the filter gets sopping wet. I like the looks of the UPD myself and with the reported gains I've heard on here I'm probably gonna try to pick one up pretty soon.

the UPD comes with a tube, a new lid for yur STOCK box, and a K&N filter. so if yur looking to get rid of the stock box you might wanna go with K&N or Volant or something else.

Is that 6-7 HP gain with the UPD comon? Is it the different filter, the tube, or a combination of both that makes the power? It seems odd, that much gain over a K&N which deletes the stock box.

Any more input?

i can't explain why it makes more power. thats just the gains greg got on the dyno. my only guess would be the tube for the UPD is HUGE

I have the GMS its the cheapest and I think it makes more power than the Volant
