6.0l intake options
#1
I've heard some conflitting info wether the ls1/ls6 intake will fit on the 6L <img border="0" alt="[fight]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_punch.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />
Is there any intake options for the 6L. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
It's going in a car. <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

Physically, it will fit.
But, you will have to deal with either making your injectors, EGR, fuel rail, harnesses, etc... fit on the car intake, - OR - Move to the car EGR, fuel rail, injectors, harness, etc... to your truck.
Either option is alot of trouble for "most" of us. Unless there is a real need to change, leave it alone.

It will depend a lot on your belt setup. If you plan on using the truck route, the LS1/6 won't work. If you plan on using a car setup, it should be fine. They are a direct swap as far as bolting up gose. The main problem is that one of the pulleys in the truck is in the way of the TB with the lowerprofle intake. the belts would need to be rerouted. Also another problem with them "IN" the tucks is the fuel supply and return system conflits. But that can be modified. In your case by this going on a car, you should be fine. What "specific" problems and conflicts have you heard.
BigTex: it's going in a car silly.
