OK i have a 99 rcsb z71 with a 6.0, efans, eaton with 373 and dual exhaust right now. I just did my last tow so i am not going to have it as a tow vehicle now. I have a vortec V-2 SQ S-Trim no cooler, 48# injectors, tog headers, o2 sims, a f2 tnt nitrous kit, total reduction pushrods, 918 springs, a 3200-3500 caon stall and transmission. I have it all sitting in at the shop but need to install it. I still need ls1 edit to tune but i need a cam so i can get everything put on. What do you guys think would work best for me??

Would the comp cam 216/220 .525/532 114 be a good one for my set up??

 

Sounds like your going all out ... if that's the case, you might go a little more aggressive than that. Maybe 216/224 .534/.544 on a 114 or 115. The lower LSA the more boost it's gonna bleed off. How fast you wanna turn the motor? How many miles are on it?

 

I am not real sure what the vortec is able to push out but i want it to be a good daily driver. THe motor has around 20k on it. I have the stock pulley for the sc and want to see how much boost i can run on pump gas. I am looking for the best alround cam.
