You can't go wrong with EFI or HPT. I really like my EFI Flashscan. I haven't tried the custom 2 bar operating system yet, but plan on giving it a shot sometime. My trucks running like a scalded dog right now, so I don't really feel the need to change it up.

I've got an LS1 Edit cable with 2 unsued VINS on it, a spare 2003 PCM already locked to the cable, and a speartech tuning harness for sale if you are interested.

Yeah, I think its at least as good. They each have their pros and cons. I've been using EFI for software logging for a couple of years and really like it. I haven't used HPT, but from what I can tell, it looks similar. I've had the EFI tuning since FEB of this year and am more than pleased with it. Its got some really cool features. One thing you might take note of - HPT has a trade in / upgrade promotion going on. You should be able to trade in that LS1 Edit cable you've got and get a discount on their product.

Do you know for sure they are still doing this? I saw no mention of it on thier site or message board yesterday when I looked. I am thinking of getting an 02 PCM and trading in my edit for HPT.

And to stay on topic... I have used HPT to tune a few f-bodys and I like it better than the Autotap/Edit combo I use on for my truck.
