if you can't tune it to run right with the maf i don't see how you're going to get anywhere without the maf. the tcc lockup points are an easy adjustment in the trans tables. are you running with c.o.t. protection on? i'd certainly sa you have no traction problem judging by your 85mph trap speed. i've got an O.B.S. tahoe that i tuned running quicker than that with a stock airbox and the intake has never been off it. going by them numbers you have a ton of tuning work to do. are you tuning with a wideband? a stock extended cab with converter, shift kit, and programming should be able to run the number you pulled off. oh yeah, and with a maf in place.

What is c.o.t. protection, must have a brain fart here, not sure what that is. Your right, there is still plenty on the table, with some more tuning it will get better, but the traction is still an issue. When you hear tires squealin' you know tires are not the ticket to a good slip. Still learning to do some things about tuning as I go, that is half the fun for me.

i'm not trying to be insulting. i think you have a second or so to gain just in programming. with the parts you have you certainly have room for gain. if you have some logs i'd like to take a look at them...

Have stored the logs I took from when I was at the strip last, but not sure how to post them so you can look at them. If anyone wants to give me tips on how to post my logged file, let me know, would like to see what others have to say about improvements that could be made using the program I have. Thanks in advance for your help.

speedy02 - you are so right, this site has helped me more than any other site, and I would like to thank you all for that. Glad this thread has helped, there seems to be several of us in the same boat on this lock up problem. Hope you all come back to this thread and tell us about your results after you fixed it.

lock-up speed can slow a truck down some, but that's just the beginning to using an edit program.
