Default Well, She made a Valiant effort :(

We were @ the track today to test the Silverado SS we just put a Radix on.....Super Chevy was testing it for a spread in next months mag Well the guy running the show told me last week that they wanted to do my truck also since we just put the 6.0 with the Radix. Long story short.....Truck left like a Rapped Ape! Approx 1.70 60 foot. (on slicks)....Then she did not even make it to the 330 mark before she shot the 4L60-E out

Stay tuned.....a nice 4L60-E build in on the way.....I will post some details later next week when we work out the details....

Hey Texas Terminator, I think I caught your Tranny Flu!

Freaking 4L60E's are giving GM trucks a bad name.

Sorry to hear you've become a victim of the 4L60E but, I'm sure you'll be back better now.

Call us when you make enough power to break the tires loose.

the "60" just won't hang with big power regardless of what you do to it. i spent the entire day yesterday on the phone with most all of the big boys across the country and got the same answer from all of them. the ONLY options for a motor with 500-600ft/lbs or more of torque is 1-a 4L80-E, 2-a TH400, or 3-what i may end up with, a 200-4R. Century automotive and transmission down in Richmond,TX ran that past me and it sounds like a great solution. it will cost about the same as an "80" conversion but is lighter and doesn't have the parasitic losses that the big "80" has. oh yea, it will also take any of the regular "60" converters too. the "60" may be ok for awhile but will ultimately break with the big weight of our trucks and i am not interested in taking my tranny out every 4-8 months to get it freshened up/repaired.
