Default WCCH heads on the way.

Well I got the mod bug again and I sent a set of heads off today to Richard at WCCH. These were a brand new set of 317s I bought last year and never got around to getting them done. So in a few weeks they will be done. Richard has been a great guy to talk to the last few weeks making my choice pretty easy. These heads will match the cam really well, 216/220 555/563. This should be the last of the mods to the SS, unless the 408 that I am building ends up in there.

Richard does make a nice set up heads though. i almost got a set but decided to go with the DARTs so I woudl be able to give the guy that is doing most of the work on my 408 the 6L heads I have for his FI 4.8

I am not putting that cam in the 408, The 408 won't make it to the SS I don't think. The SS is staying my daily driver, the 408 is going in something else.
I was very impressed with his numbers and were they peaked at, Moregrip's pictures looked like they were a very high quality piece. He is a really cool guy to talk too.

Same ones as you Grippy, I had all the parts for mine cause the guy that does my oval track heads was going to do these for me. Things got too busy for him and now I have time to play. Richard numbers are really good for the cam in my truck. I have 2.02 1.57 Manley valves and Patriot Gold springs. I am getting 71 cc chambers so I can keep the stock compression , instead of the 74cc.
Are yours on yet?

Grippy, Whats taking so long?

Mine should be on as soon as they get here. The only thing I need is for Allen to update my tune. I want to try to get to the track before the season is over.
