I thought some of that stuff was done already? That is going to be some ride when it is done. I wish I had kept my 2500HD ECSB, this dam trans is really holding me back
The heads should be easy for me since the cam is done and all I have to do is unbolt the headers. What head bolts are you using?

I don't think you can get the heads on with the studs, I think 2bseen had this problem. Something about the firewall I think? Have you checked?

You might try setting the heads on the block and then threading in the studs. Or studs with nuts on them already installed in the head and then remove the nuts and thread them once you set them on.

Not a bad idea. I really don't want to use GM torque to yield bolts, but the ARPs have to be retorqued after the first heat cycle This means putting the headers again

I can say now that WCCH has been very helpful in getting exactly what I want for a head. When I saw the flow numbers from Moregrip I knew these were rite for me. Mine are alittle different but it was no problem at all.
