Get a FUddle converter. They are sooo much better than any stalled vehicle I have driven. I have had a TCI in my truck and now the FUddle and hands down the FUddle is better. My buddies rcsb has the TT3000 in his truck and my Fuddle 3400 was tighter and more driveable then Yanks. Plus Fuddle stands behind his **** and free upgrades for a year so if you buy it and decide you want it to stall 200 rpom higher just call him up and he iwll ship you another on out. If you blow it he will replace it for free. Good luck getting Yank to do any of that. I have seen way too many Yanks and TCIs blown to EVER buy one of those again now granted there are ALOT more of them out there than Fuddle but if you see the design of the Fuddle it is clear how much stronger his design is even if you dont really know anything about converters.

The Fuddle sounds interesting. What makes it better? Is that the billet one?

Yes it has a the billet cover or whatever and the clutch is so much bigger than the coompetitors. He is even willing ot let me lock it half way through 2nd with 700rwhp and still warranty it Yank and TCI WONT do that. Give John at Fuddle racing a call he knows his **** and can tell you all the nice things about his converter and to boot it is only 500 bucks shipped.

Yank TT3000 is the best converter I have ever used.It will stall about 3200 with your setup.I'm running a Vigilante with my 4L80E,it's good but it not nearly as good as the Yank was with my 4L60E.My vote would definately be for the Yank.

This is why I am so torn between converters. I quess I just have to make a move. I hear PIs are alittle loose. I like the TB stall right now.

I am going to wait until after I get some new times, If it goes 13s, it might be enough for the SS. I might start a new project. If I am real close, just tweak the tune and see if I can get there.
These heads have really made a considerable difference, I like the way the power is crisp and smooth. I think I will see a nice gain. Now the weather is calling for rain tommorrow nite, Friday is supposed to be real cool, around 40* and good air. If its going to run 13s it will be Friday.
