I think a stall is on the way, just which one? I don't know right now, maybe the TB cause Matt used it in his SS with out a problem, he went to a PI with the 408 and he has a some trouble with it.
The cam, well I am thinking a custom grind. I am going to do some thinking and some brain picking of some people and see what I come up with. Allen said to me " it could use some more cam now", I just wanted to see the gain with just the heads. I am getting more comfortable with this Gen III stuff so another cam swap will not be a problem. The problem is where do I stop and start another truck with a 408?

Yank 2600 is proven,TB would be good to ,although I dont know how it feels.I would try it.Custom grind? as long as you are not trying to re-invent the wheel, cam motion could help and Alan I would trust to get you what you want,he can tune to the nuts anything he recommends I suspect.

My 2400 is perfect for me,I tow max loads at times and tow 5K all the time, anymore stall would be to much IMHO is spite of what yank and fuddle says.2600 yank is to much for big loads, the 2600 is the perfect compromise for all around in my opinion were most everyone else is 3K.I live at elevation and have serious terrain off raod.Use the search for cam motion, from what I have read they take the time and get you what your wants and needs are.For me i can find an off the shelf comp to work for about anything.Good to ask a lot of questions and do your home work before going off(like you are doing). This fourm as yopu know you can find anything.

It's amazing what some decent flowing heads will do for ya huh! I'm dyin to know if you're gonna get into the 13's this week...so far the weather's been crisp...good air, just hopefully good traction and no rain
. I'm thinkin TrailBlazer stall myself...should stall between 2600-2800 behind a 6.0, it's relatively cheap, consistent, and you can still tow if necessary.
