My buddy had one on his truck for a week, was so pissed at quality and results that he gave it away. Like i told him when he had the "great idea" of buying one, it's just like any other filter assembly, they all do the same thing. Vararam, in our opinions, are just crappier than others.

How much does one of these turds go for anyway??
Every time I read a claim from anyone who makes any kind of intake the numbers are usually outrageous and non-attainable. Some say 15-25hp and 30-40ft lbs. of torque!? Come on already, spend the $100-$250 on a cam or some thing else that actually works. Usually if its really easy to do as far as an install goes, its to good to be true if they are touting massive gains from an intake mod.

you guys make them out to be a horror story.

I'm willing to try a different intake, but I'm happy with my current one.

haha, its alright colby. some like to make my intake out to be a horror story but i havent had one problem from my UPD intake

It makes me hurl when i think about when i had my vararam. What a POS! Replace it with a green intake.
