valve springs

I have replaced a ZO6 engine (bone stock) because of a broken valve spring and I had to change my springs and get a head job because of one (got lucky and the spring coiled together keeping the valve stuck just above the piston)......... So, IMHO stay away from LS6 springs. Get some dual springs and be done with it.

for the money id say ls6. i bought a set yesterday, theyll be here tomorrow. good to .570 lift is what they said though.... that might be a little weak for your cam. they only cost $70 though. my cams only .518/.520 round abouts.

Witht the lift on his cam i wouldn't run the LS6 springs.. the lift of your cam would be pushing the LS6 springs.. I would go for springs with a .650" lift so your not pushing them to the limit and that would help longevity.. Valve springs are like most other engine parts, they are a wear item and should be replaced at certain intervals.
