Default V6 to V8 Swap

NBS 4.3L to 6.0L swap, I know its been beat to death, but I cant find a thread with info about motor mounts. Which ones are to be used? Also which transmission mount must be used. The V6 mount is too far to the right to line up properly.

OK, I cannot find a motor mount stand to fit on the driver's side. The bolt holes in the frame are about 2-3/4" apart between centerlines. I have about 3 sets of mounts, all from 1500 5.3 engines, none of them work on the drivers side.
What are you guys using for the driver's side? Out of what year/model/engine trucks?

ok, are you talking about the actual motor mount that bolts to the block, or the bracket that bolts to the frame? get the brackets from a truck like yours I.E.( if yours is a 2000 silverado 1500 2wd, get the v8 brackets from a 2000 silverado 1500 2wd).

Im talking about the mounts that bolt to the frame, which are called the stands.. Its for a 99. The mounts I have came from an 02, but I dont see how much different a 99 can be from an 02

OK, Im convinced this method will not work in a 99 chassis. I have just about every motor mount ever made for this generation truck and none of them work. Might want to put that in DHL's post
